LASER CHEVAL has developed its own laser engraving software called LENS and is dedicated to all LASER CHEVAL’s engraving machines (LEM, CO2 laser machines, specific machines...). LENS offers a convenient user interface to set all commonly used settings.

A graphic editor allows the composition and the execution of marking programs.

LENS enables the creation of basic geometric forms, of straight or circular text and of 1D and 2D bar codes. It also allows importing graphics of bitmap or vector formats. The objects created by LENS are linked to a certain amount of laser parameters, which are altered in order to get the aspect wanted (depth, aspect, quality) according to the nature of the items to be marked. The multiple editing functions of LENS ease the creation of compositions.

The automation functions of LENS are available with the integrated Script editor and extend the possibilities of the software. Along with the axis system (installed as an option), LENS enables the automation of the axis functions: programmed adjusting of the focusing, displacement of items on a XY table, marking on cylindrical parts, etc….Finally LENS is open thanks to its automation interface which allows its piloting from another application.

All ordinary bar codes are available on our standard software as well as Datamatrix ECC-200 code.
Several experience plans allow us to engrave these codes on surface usually considered as non markable. De nombreux plans d'expérience nous permettent de réaliser ces codes sur des surfaces usuellement considérées comme non marquables.

LensRC (LensRemoteControl) est fourni avec nos systèmes OEM, la gamme des LEM2000, LEM4000, LEM8000, LEM16000. LensRC fournit un lien de communication avec un système externe (par exemple, automate programmable) qui pourra prendre le contrôle du laser.

Le système externe prend le contrôle du laser à travers des entrées/sorties digitales, une liaison série ou une liaison réseau TCP-IP. Le contrôle peut se résumer à déclencher le marquage via une entrée digitale, ou aller jusqu'à des opérations complexes (chargement de programmes, modification de variables texte, etc…).

LensRP, from models in 3 dimensions in STL format, creates layers (slicing) of the imported model. These layers are then used by the LENS Software in order to produce the motive in 3D.

1. The 3D model is imported in LensRP.

2. The layers are generated by a click and are then exported in a 2D format.

3. The layers are imported in LENS and treated automatically by a script which produces the design layer by layer.

4. The item is finished. Dimensions of the worked zone: 20mm x 15mm x 2.5mm

In a global approach of software, Laser Cheval offers to its customers complementary software dedicated to 2D and 3D drawings, to picture retouch, vector bitmap treatment and to vectorization.

Indeed, Laser Cheval incorporates software dedicated to the creation and the retouch in 2D or 3D of a excellent quality/price ratio.

Laser Cheval performs personalized work configurations according to the application (2D or 3D), et offers training for the use of the software for our marking applications in 2D or 3D. A plug-in has also been developed and completes the commands of the software in order to establish a link with the software LENS :
